Monday - workday

Beginning this journal again.

A good weekend, that just flew by.

Saturday - Good therapy session with K. Then shopping with Dan, food shopping, a nap and Indian food for dinner. Feeling allergies, but not too bad.

Sunday - slept late. More food shopping. Drive K and Miles to a movie (Barnyard) Dan buzzes my hair, then a soak in the jacuzzi and a short nap. Pick up K and Miles from the mall, then about 2 hours of guitar. A new idea appears, so out comes the looper. A tremelo, an offset and a bass line. Fun.

Today, in to work at 8:00 AM for a shoot tech scout. The shoot is on Wednesday. Some unnecessary tension because of client's expectations and assumptions. Hopefully they'll be straightened out before the shoot.

Back at the office, the carpets in the hallways were removed over the weekend, and the cement floors were treated with some strong smelling chemical. I have a tremendous headache, and hope to head home soon.

Friday - workday

I aim to post daily, again.

Relatively slow week at work. But, next week brings a shoot to supervise, in NY, so long days and much work are ahead.

Lots of tension at home, with K. I aim for patience and consistancy. Be true to myself. Challenging.

Looking forward to the weekend; rest, recharge. Oh, and play guitar!!

Tuesday -workday, post-vacation

A very necessary vacation. Was chauffered there and back by Daniel. Had lots of private time each day, for sittings and much guitar playing. Cooked some good meals, had great times with the boys; swimming. kayaking, hanging out. The weather turned chilly by the end of the week, but it was OK.

K staayed home, with Sandy moving in for the week. She had a bad time of it, medically, but was stubborn and did not see a doctor until the end of the week. Yesterday she had some more blood tests and saw a Nefrologist, a kidney specialist, who seems to finally have a diagnosis for her - SIADH, which stands for "Syndrome of Inappropriate Secretion of Anti Diuretic". A combination of being over medicated and drinking too much fluids has lowered her sodium levels periodically to critical levels. In the recent past, when she was hospitalized, they were able to regulate her diet and fluids, but she's not so good about what she eats and drinks when she's home. We'll now stay on top of this. More to come, I'm sure.

It's good to be back at work, actually. 2 incidents yesterday need to be processed; pointed sticks, not to be ignored. Also more to come.

Friday - workday, last day before vacation!

Long week; no posts.

Weekend went by fast; visit K, celebrate her birthday. Many errands, shopping, etc. Very hot, a theme for the week.

Work week was full, but not too stressful. Had to convince an arrogant client that I knew what I was doing, and that my methodolgy was correct, the right way to do something. a small victory.

K came home on Tuesday. I was surprised she was released so soon, but she is doing better. She had and will have many doctor appointments and tests in the next few weeks, and will not come with us to Vermont next week. Thankfully, her sponsor, Sandy will move in and stay with her while the boys and I are away.

Really looking forward to vacation. I should have a lot of free time, guitar time. I should be able to post, also.
